Transpyr Road

Last year I was fortunate to be one of the lucky few who were able to test part of the route of the Transpyr Road, in the testing phase, at the time, but few days ago has been presented to society in all its extension. The race takes place in parallel to BTT’s older sister, and consists of 8 stages and 140 kilometers on average between 3,000 and 2,200 meters of altitude + accumulated. They can choose from three modalities, the complete, the East (from Roses to Ainsa) and the West (from Aínsa to Donosti). The route always looks gorgeous landscapes, forgotten spots, unfamiliar roads, which are often very narrow and in very bad condition. This makes the Transpyr Road pose a competitive running is not the best option, so they opted for a mixed type unusual here. The Transpyr runs along public roads and participants must follow the route with GPS but at each stage there will be a special stage where you can squeeze those who want to enjoy a competitive point. I recommend it very warmly. As I say to everyone who made last year to San Sebastian from Aínsa repeat this summer.
